Email Marketing – How often should I send emails to my list

In this article I am going to address one of the most common questions about email marketing. How often should I send emails to my list? This is indeed a very important question because if you get it wrong you will either have a lot of people unsubscribing or you will have a low conversion rate when it comes to promoting your products. When you get it right, email marketing is a very effective way to sell your products, programs and services. It allows you to build a strong relationship with your subscribers that will come to know and trust you as you drip feed them excellent materials through the mail devices.

Actual frequency you send out e-mail may not be as important as the consistency you do it. Let me give you a couple of examples to explain what I mean. First example: if you only send out one or two emails a week on the list, and then suddenly start sending out emails every day then you are likely to get a lot of unsubscribes. It will feel like you are suddenly really pestering them, even if emails contain great content, as they are just not used to getting emails often from you

Another example :. Sending out just one or two emails a week may be appropriate points for a specific niche, but if you’re not consistent about what days you have sent them out, and maybe even the times, then you are likely to find that you are lower open rates and lower sales. Again it’s all about expectations. You want to subscribe to for next content packed message. However, it is important to make them wait too long or else they may forget you! So I would not send more than one email per week.

Before I set mail program to get you started, I would like to say that the best way to determine the frequency of email is asking subscribers. Ask them directly. You could do it in the form of a survey and give them several options such as is the number of emails I sent you …? About right. Too few. Too many.

So here is a simple email campaign template to use, always remember to tweak and adjust it to meet your specific niche. I would recommend the autoresponder series your emails begin sending them out daily, or at least the days of the week, for the first 2-4 weeks, after which you could drop down to every other day. This is because the majority of subscribers will buy the first month and when they do you need to move them to the list given buyers.
